NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be an Indian citizen/Bhutan citizen/Nepal citizen/Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Indian persons who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda or Vietnam with the intention of settling in India are eligible
Certificate: Candidates of Foreign Nationals (other than Gorkhas) will have to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Qualifications
- For Army Wing: Candidates must have passed 12th exam to be eligible.
- Air Force & Naval Wing (Cadet Entry Scheme): Candidates must have passed 10+2 class examination with PCM as one of the compulsory subjects.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in class 12th can also be eligible to apply.
- Age Limit, Gender, Marital Status
Unmarried male and female both candidates will be eligible to apply.
- Candidates age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years.
- Candidates will not be allowed to marry till the completion of their training.
- To apply for NDA I, the candidate must be born between July 2, 2005 to July 1, 2008.
- Candidate applying for NDA II should be born between 02 Jan 2006 to 01 Jan 2009.
Physical fitness
- Candidates must be medically fit and healthy as per the fitness norms prescribed by the authorities.
- Candidates who have withdrawn and resigned from any of the training academies on disciplinary grounds will not be eligible to apply.
- For Army, Navy and Naval Academy – 157 cm (minimum)
- For Air Force – 162.5 cms (minimum)
NDA 2024 Application Form
The commission will conduct the NDA 1 Application Form 2024 online on December 20, 2023 at nda.nic.in where candidates can visit the official website to fill the NDA 2024 Application Form and prepare for the exam. Eligible candidates can fill the NDA 1 2024 Application Form in two parts. They have to complete One Time Registration (OTR) for UPSC NDA Exam 2024 by filling basic information. In, after logging in they need to proceed to fill the application form and pay the examination fee.

NDA 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates who are going to appear in NDA 2024 Exam can get information about NDA 2024 Exam Pattern along with knowing NDA 2024 Syllabus. The exam pattern includes the stages of the exam, time duration and marking scheme etc. UPSC NDA exam is conducted in pen and paper mode. The NDA exam consists of two papers, Mathematics and General Aptitude Test (GAT). The duration of each test is 2 hours 30 minutes. As per the NDA 2024 marking scheme, candidates with the correct answer in Mathematics will get 2.5 marks. Candidates will get 4 marks for correct answer in GAT. For a wrong answer, 1/3rd of the marks assigned to that particular question will be deducted as penalty.
