NEET Syllabus 2024: NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a single medical entrance examination for aspiring medical students across India. The final NEET syllabus 2024 has been released by the National Testing Agency vide notification dated 06.10.2023. NEET Syllabus 2024

NEET 2024 syllabus for all subjects has been announced by the agency. Meanwhile, candidates should refer to the official syllabus to know about the topics that will be relevant for the exam. Where candidates have to go through the syllabus PDF to know about the relevant topics for the exam.

NTA NEET Syllabus 2024

NTA NEET syllabus 2024 is going to be similar to the syllabus of 2023 test. However, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has released a revised syllabus for NEET UG 2024-25, in which the number of chapters has been reduced from 97 to 79. The exam subjects are asked from both classes 11th and 12th. Some subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Biology have also been added and modified in the revised syllabus and candidates must download the NTA NEET Syllabus PDF from the official website for NEET Syllabus 2024.

Is NEET 2024 syllabus reduced by NMC?

NMC has reduced the NEET 2024 syllabus, there have been some minor changes. NEET Exam Pattern 2024 Based On NEET Syllabus 2024

NEET-UG exam has a total of 200 questions divided into sections A and B. This option list contains only 180 questions which candidates should continue to attempt.

  • Section A will have 35 questions in each section, all of which will be compulsory.
  • Section B will have 15 questions in each section, out of which candidates will have to attempt any 10 questions.

  • As per the new exam pattern, each subject will have 2 sections consisting of 35 questions in Section A and 15 questions in Section B.
  • There will be a total of 200 multiple choice questions (of which 20 are optional). Each correct question carries 4 marks.
  • NEET (UG) 2024 is a pen and paper-based examination, the answers to which are to be given on a specially designed machine gradeable OMR sheet using a ball point pen.
  • There will be negative marking of minus one (-1) mark for each wrong answer.
  • The total duration of NEET 2024 exam is 3 hours 20 minutes (200 minutes)
