CLAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Any candidate who wants to appear in CLAT 2024 must fulfill the eligibility criteria given by the Consortium. Participating NLUs will also check whether the shortlisted candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria or not. Wherein the eligibility criteria for CLAT 2024 is given below:
- The candidate must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
- The candidate needs to obtain at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories.
- Candidate must have secured at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination for SC/ST categories.
- There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT.
- Meanwhile, Foreign Nationals / NRI / NRI sponsored candidates can also apply for CLAT 2024 Exam.
- The foreign national must satisfy the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the NLU.

CLAT 2024 Legal Aptitude Preparation Tips
Legal Aptitude is an important section in CLAT question paper. Candidates are required to be familiar with the key concepts of law. In this, basic understanding of law of contract, law of tort, family law and constitutional law will be helpful for the candidates to answer the questions.

CLAT 2024 Outcomes
Candidates can take admission in 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) of India and many other affiliated universities and institutions. The exam is scheduled to be held on December 3, 2023 and the result is expected to be released in the second week of December 2023. CLAT is a national level law entrance examination conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to five-year integrated LLB.
