IIFT Exam 2024: Applications have been invited for admission to MBA IB (International Business), and MBA BA (Business Analytics) programmes. IIFT Exam 2024 will be conducted in the second week of December 2023, so interested candidates can apply for IIFT Admission 2024 till December 6, 2023 and IIFT 2024 application process for NRIs and Foreign Nationals will start from January 15 and will end on March 15, Will close in 2023.

Candidates should note that IIFT will not conduct IIFT entrance exam in 2024 but the selection of candidates for MBA programs will be based on CAT 2023 scores.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the second round of the admission process, which consists of Written Aptitude Test (WAT), Group Discussion, Extempore and Personal Interview, on the basis of their CAT 2023 scores. This change in the admission process is expected to make it easier for students to apply to IIFT, as they will no longer need to prepare for two separate exams.

IIFT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has announced the following eligibility criteria for admission to its MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) programs in 2024 which include:

• Candidates must be Indian citizens. Foreign nationals and NRIs are also eligible to apply but they will have to upload the necessary documents in support of their eligibility.

• Candidate must be graduate from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks, this is for general category only. In this, the minimum aggregate marks for SC/ST/PWD category is 45%.

• Final year students are only eligible to submit their graduation degree/certificate provisionally in the first week of October 2024.

• There is no upper age limit to register for IIFT 2024.

• Foreign candidates are eligible on the basis of their GMAT score.

What is IIFT Exam 2024?

IIFT exam is an entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) for admission to its flagship MBA (International Business) program as well as its new MBA (Business Analytics) program. The examination is generally conducted in the third week of December and will be a computer based examination of 2 hours duration. The exam consists of 110 questions, divided into four sections:

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: This section is included to test the candidate’s ability to read and understand complex English passages as well as their vocabulary and grammar skills.

Quantitative Ability: This section tests the mathematical skills of the candidate and includes their ability to solve problems related to algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus.

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: This section tests the candidate’s ability to analyze and interpret data as well as their logical reasoning skills.

General Knowledge and Business Environment: This section usually tests the candidate’s general knowledge about current affairs, business and economics.

IIFT Registration Process 2024

IIFT Application Form 2024 has been released by NTA on its official website. The process to submit IIFT 2024 application form is online and the fee amount to be paid has been set at Rs 2,500 for General and OBC candidates and Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. IIFT Exam Pattern 2024

IIFT Exam Pattern 2024 is now similar to other MBA entrance exams i.e. test based test consisting of MCQs on Reasoning, Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Language Comprehension. The online examination is conducted for 2 hours in English language. The total number of multiple choice questions asked in MCQs will be between 110-130 and the total marks are 300. IIFT Exam Preparation 2024

Preparing for IIFT exam requires at least six months of dedicated planning and the right strategy. IIFT exam is conducted in December, so candidates need to start preparing for IIFT 2024 from May-June. Once the IIFT syllabus is completed, one can proceed to solve IIFT practice tests and sample papers.

For this quantitative aptitude section one should know about the concepts and formulas as well as all types of questions. For Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability the candidate needs to practice sample questions from the beginning to the end of the IIFT exam preparation stage, here the General Awareness section can be chosen in the last stage of IIFT exam preparation.

IIFT 2024 Marking Scheme

The total marks for IIFT 2024 entrance exam generally comprises of 100. This question paper is divided into several sections consisting of Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness which are given below:

The marks awarded for each correct answer may vary for each question:

• Each correct answer in VARC, QA and DILR sections carries +3 marks.

• Each correct answer in GA section carries +1.5 marks.

For each wrong answer:

• 1 mark is deducted for questions in VARC, QA and DILR sections.

• 0.5 marks are deducted for questions in GA section.

Important Notice: IIFT will not conduct the IIFT Entrance Exam in 2024. Instead, candidates for MBA programs will be selected on the basis of CAT 2023 scores.

This means that no IIFT admit card will be released in 2024. Candidates who have registered for IIFT MBA 2024-26 can download their CAT 2023 admit card from the NTA website in November 2023.

IIFT Test Cities 2024
