SAIL Selection Process 2023
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Eligible candidates will have to appear in a computerized test in Hindi or English.
- This test will have 100 multiple choice questions, of which 50 will be on technical knowledge and 50 on general awareness.
- This test will last for 90 minutes
- The minimum qualifying score for CBT will be based on 50th percentile for unreserved/EWS candidates and 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates.
- The qualifying score will be calculated separately for each post/subject.
Stage 2: Shortlisting for Skill Test/Trade Test
- Candidates qualifying in CBT will be shortlisted for Skill Test/Trade Test in the order of merit in the ratio of 1:3 for each post/discipline/trade.
- In this, if any candidate obtains the same cut-off marks, then all of them will be called for skill test/trade test.
