The Ministry of Education offers a total of 1,000,000 NMMS Scholarships 2024 to eligible eighth grade students every year. The state-level SCERT or the education department conducts the NMMS exam mainly in the offline version. NMMS Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• A student has been selected for the merit list by the state-level authority.
• Must be studying in class 8th in any government, government aided or local body school during the academic year 2023-24.
• For NMMS Scholarship 2024, one must have completed Class 8 with minimum 55% marks (or 50% for SC/ST students).
• Any total annual income from the student family cannot exceed Rs. 3,50,000
• Only those students who are studying in India are eligible for NMMS Scholarship 2024.
• If you take the exam for NMMS Scholarship 2024 and pass it then you can be eligible for the award.

Who is not eligible for NMMS Scholarship 2024?

• NMMS Scholarship 2024 is not open to students of NVS, KVS, Sainik Schools or private institutions of higher education.
• Ineligible students are those who attend boarding schools or other residential facilities run by state government institutions.

NMMS Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility Criteria for Continuation of Scholarship

Along with this selection, the student must obtain at least 55% marks (5% relaxation for reserved categories) in the Class 8 examination to avail the scholarship in Class 9.

• To avail scholarship in class 11 the student must obtain 60% marks in class 10 (5% relaxation for reserved categories).
• To get scholarship in class 10, students have to pass class 9.
• To get scholarship in class 12th, it is necessary to pass class 11th.
