What is CUSAT CAT 2024?

CUSAT CAT stands for Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test. It is conducted for admission to various programs in India such as Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Marine Sciences, Medical Sciences and Technology, Science, Social Sciences and Technology for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university in various fields. CUSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for CUSAT CAT 2024 candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria like age limit, educational qualification, percentage etc. The eligibility criteria for CUSAT 2024 may vary depending on the examinations – meanwhile applicants can check the CUSAT CAT eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

General Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for various UG courses must have passed 12th/or its equivalent from a recognized university.

To apply for various PG courses, candidates must have UG degree/or its equivalent from a recognized university.

For B.Tech programme:

Candidates must have passed Plus Two examination of Kerala State or any other examination recognized as equivalent to PCM subjects as optional subjects with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in PCM subjects.

Those who belong to ST/SC of Kerala communities are eligible to apply if they obtain minimum passing marks.

People belonging to SEBC in Kerala State belonging to NCL category are eligible for 5% relaxation in minimum required marks.

For MBA:

In this, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% aggregate marks from any recognized board/university.

Kerala SC/ST communities are eligible to apply if the applicant obtains minimum passing marks in the qualifying degree.

In this, students should have valid marks in any management aptitude test – KMAT/ CMAT/ CAT (IIM).
