MHT CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for MHT CET 2024 exam are required to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates can check MHT CET eligibility criteria here:
Maharashtra State Candidates
- Candidates must have passed 12th class/appearing in 12th class in 2024.
- The candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks in class 12. Candidates belonging to backward class, economically weaker section and disabled category must have obtained at least 40% marks in class 12.
- Candidate must have passed 12th class with any subject in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practice/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Should be in.
Non-Maharashtra Candidates
Any candidate who is not from Maharashtra is also eligible to appear in MHT CET. However, he may or may not appear in MHT CET, the reason being that JEE Main score is given priority over MHT CET 2024 for admission to B.E./B.Tech. Additionally, MHT CET reservation policies also do not apply to candidates not belonging to Maharashtra.
OCI/PIO/NRI Candidate
OCI/PIO and NRI candidates are exempted from appearing in MHT CET. Such candidates can apply for admission on the basis of Class 12/equivalent examinations. After the entrance process of MHT CET, separate counseling is conducted for OCI/PIO/NRI candidates.

MHT CET 2024 Exam Pattern
As per the exam pattern of MHT CET 2024, the question paper will be set with 20% weightage for Class 11 subjects and 80% weightage for Class 12 subjects. Candidates are required to check the information brochure for the exam pattern of MHT CET 2024. The exam pattern includes information like marking scheme, types of questions, duration of the exam, mode of exam and much more.
The examination will be conducted online as a computer based test and will consist of 3 question papers consisting of multiple choice questions (MCQ).
Paper 1 of Mathematics

Paper 3 of Biology (To be appeared by only Pharmacy candidates)
Paper 1: Mathematics
Total 50 questions. A total of 10 questions will be included from Class 11 syllabus and 40 questions from Class 12 syllabus. Each question is going to be of 2 marks and the total duration of the paper is going to be 90 minutes. There is no negative marking in this.
Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry
Total 100 questions. There will be 50 questions in Physics part and the remaining 50 questions will be from Chemistry and out of 50 questions in each subject, 10 questions will be from Class 11 syllabus and the remaining 40 questions will be from Class 12 syllabus. The total duration of the paper will be 90 minutes and there will be no negative marking.
Paper 3: Biology
Total 100 questions. A total of 20 questions will be from Class 11 syllabus. And the remaining 80 questions will be from Class 12 syllabus. The total duration in this will be 90 minutes. There will be no negative marking.
PCM Candidates: Candidates of B.Tech course will be included in this paper combination. This paper of PCM will have 2 groups of Physics-Chemistry and Mathematics with total duration of 180 minutes, first 90 minutes will be Physics and Chemistry and only after completion of first 90 minutes the Physics-Chemistry group will be automatic. Will be done. After submission, Maths group will be enabled with a duration of 90 minutes.
PCB Candidates: Candidates of BPharm course have to appear in this paper combination, where this paper has two groups of Physics-Chemistry and Biology with total duration of 180 minutes, first 90 minutes of Physics and Chemistry will be competent and After completion of the first group, feedback for Physics-Chemistry group will be automatically presented and Biology group will be enabled with a duration of 90 minutes.

MHT CET 2024 Exam Centers 2024
The exam will be conducted in around 100 cities across the state and a few cities outside Maharashtra. The exact details about the MHT CET exam center of the candidate are mentioned in the admit card.
Candidates will be allotted examination center based on the examination city choices filled by the candidate while filling the application form. Candidates should note that the examination city once allotted cannot be changed.
- MHT CET 2024 will be conducted online in almost all the districts of Maharashtra.
- Outside Maharashtra, capital districts of selected states like Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh can be the examination centres.
- Candidates will be allotted examination center on the basis of preference filled in the application form.
