- Parents of girls must have Aadhaar or Bhamashah card.
- The girl child should be born in a state hospital or a private medical institution authorized by the Medical and Health Department.
- The first installment will be given to all those girls who are born in government hospitals and private medical institutions registered with Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY).
